125G KOREAN CHILLI MISO
€ 8,00
Discover a flavour all its own
with our gochugaru miso.
It marries
the light sweetness
of chickpea miso
to the aromatic intensity
of Korean chilli.
Its deep red colour
is as striking to the eye
as its taste is to the palate —
bold, and reminiscent
of gochujang paste.
One for those
who love a little heat.
Use it like a pesto
to lift your dishes,
or let your imagination run —
into a sauce,
a dressing,
a finishing touch.
Chickpea miso* (95%) (rice*, chickpeas*, salt, koji (Aspergillus oryzae)), olive oil*, gochugaru pepper (4%), Calabria pepper* (1%)
*96% from organic farming
May contain traces of soy, sesame and wheat.
A versatile sauce: perfect as a marinade for grilled vegetables, poultry, fish, or seafood.
A spicy condiment: set the jar on the table to use as a hot sauce through the meal.
A creative touch: stir it into sauces, dressings, or any dish that calls for a spark of spice.
Keep in a cool, dry place.
Always use clean utensils — a clean spoon, a clean rim — each time you serve.
After opening, keep refrigerated.
Yes. A little liquid — similar to tamari — can appear in the jar over time. It is perfectly fine. Simply stir it back through before using.
Not at all. This is simply down to how we make it — our miso is not retort-sterilised, so you won't hear the pop you might expect from some jarred foods. It is completely normal.
However you like. In Japan, miso is enjoyed many ways: fresh and unheated for its lively flavour, or deliberately caught a little on the heat, where it caramelises into something deeper. There is no single right way — let your cooking decide.
Yes. All of our miso is vegan, made entirely from plants, and gluten-free. If you are sensitive to any allergen, please read the allergy information on each product.
