125G BLACK GARLIC MISO
€ 8,00
Did you know
that black garlic was born in Japan?
At nuu,
we bring this remarkable ingredient
into a miso of its own.
The cloves pass through
the Maillard reaction —
a natural process
that slowly caramelises them,
turning them dark and sweet.
And the flavour:
an exceptional burst of umami.
Joined with miso,
it is a perfect pairing —
a quiet, savoury depth
for your cooking.
Soy miso* (93%) (rice*, soybeans*, salt, koji (Aspergillus oryzae)), black garlic* (7%)

A treasure of umami, it lifts the flavour of almost anything you cook.
Stir a little into a dressing or a sauce, fold it into a dip, or slip it into pasta as a hidden note. Even a small spoonful is enough to turn a dish into something quietly creative.
Keep in a cool, dry place.
Always use clean utensils — a clean spoon, a clean rim — each time you serve.
After opening, keep refrigerated.
Yes. A little liquid — similar to tamari — can appear in the jar over time. It is perfectly fine. Simply stir it back through before using.
Not at all. This is simply down to how we make it — our miso is not retort-sterilised, so you won't hear the pop you might expect from some jarred foods. It is completely normal.
However you like. In Japan, miso is enjoyed many ways: fresh and unheated for its lively flavour, or deliberately caught a little on the heat, where it caramelises into something deeper. There is no single right way — let your cooking decide.
Yes. All of our miso is vegan, made entirely from plants, and gluten-free. If you are sensitive to any allergen, please read the allergy information on each product.
